Resident Artists Exhibition

Interconnect to Disconnect is an exhibition exploring the relationship between the culture and the natural environment of the Semai community in Tisung, Sungkai, Perak. The exhibition presents reflections and observations by the resident artists following their research-based exploration and engagement with the Semai community.
Join us on 27 September for the opening of our Resident Artists Exhibition, featuring works by artists Chong Kok Choon and Lyu Yun-Shan. Through their residency, the artists experiment with traditional forms of storytelling and transform them into contemporary artistic expressions.
The exhibition also features creative works by the children and women of the Semai community, offering an opportunity to learn more about Semai culture, traditions, and the community's relationship with its natural environment.
