This exhibition marks the first phase of a broader research initiative studying the relevance and resilience of traditional art-making methods in contemporary practice. By bridging traditional craft with modern concepts, Exploration in Time asks: how do we carry forward cultural memory while forging new creative paths?
As part of this exploration, the exhibition also highlights artists engaging with either traditional art practice or utilising emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, as tools for expanding visual language and rethinking the creative process. The result is a compelling dialogue between material and digital, historical and speculative.
